Tom LECOMTE

In line with my time and with the constant evolution of our world, I naturally wanted to become a player. We are, indeed, at the dawn of a great technological transformation, in which engineers, both in electronics and computer science, will become the architects of our future.
I have always practised a high level sport, in parallel with my studies: Club class, correspondence courses, ski study, DUT (specialised technical diploma) with SHN and engineering school in alternation, have enabled me to acquire a team spirit, assiduity and great autonomy in all the projects I have undertaken.
As a freelancer, as an entrepreneur and in the professional world, I have been able to stand out thanks to my innovative spirit and I have won many prizes and idea competitions.

INSA Lyon GE

Engineering School of Electronic, Computer and Automatic • 2020-2023

When I returned to INSA GE as a work-study student, I decided to reduce my sports activities in order to concentrate on the end of my studies.
This left me time to develop my self-employed activity, to carry out innovation competitions and to launch myself into entrepreneurship with the Kassini project.

DUT GEII Grenoble

DUT Electrical and Computer Industrial Engineering • 2017-2020

After a scientific baccalaureate completed in a high-level sports programme, I continued along this path by joining the DUT GEII in Grenoble, in a special section. (3 years instead of 2) It was a revelation for me: I discovered a passion for engineering.
Always well placed in my class (between 2nd and 4th), I was able to enter a prestigious engineering school!
I was also able to participate, as a study project, in the design of the ATISE nano-satellite at the University Space Centre of Grenoble (CSUG).

Kassini is a startup project specialised in geolocation, tracking and rescue of athletes in hostile environments.
This project was born from my many years of experiences in professional sports and from a collaboration with colleagues from INSA Lyon. I am the main instigator of the project and I am in contact with our partners (INSA VALOR, SPORTal'TECK, ARVA, Outdoor Sport Live,...)

VapéRail International

Student developer • Septembre 2020 - Septembre 2021

Vapé Rail International is a company specialised in the development of innovative solutions dedicated to the modern railway and its environment.
Evolving in the IOT pole of Lyon, I had the chance to work as a hardware and software developer on many missions.
Skills: Creation of electronic boards, programming of STM32 in C language, implementation of project monitoring tools.
